Secret Serpents & The Spiritual Sweet-tooth (Chapter 3)

Background

In Part 2 we talked about several different “wiring faults” that prevent our spiritual circuits from fully experiencing the True Power of God. These faulty configurations can tragically cause us to miss the true, life changing effects of His Power.

In Part 1, we learned how the enemy likes to hide two very important parts of power in opposing camps. Usually, these camps contain many extremes and a lot of deception.

Today, we’re going to talk a little more about the “Lifeless Middle” that we touched on in the first chapter.

In The Middle

The middle seems comfortable. It seems sane, at a time when everything else around is insanity. Outside of the middle, people are fighting and bickering without stopping to catch their breath. Names are called, hate is thrown around. There is simply no peace.

Those people who portray God as a judge seem to be incredibly cruel. They’re represented by people who carry picket signs which say, “God hates you!” and they go to gay pride rallies in order to spit on the people – some even throw balloons filled with urine. All this, they do in the name of Christ.

To the young person who has grown up seeing this sort of thing, this behaviour is clear. It’s nothing more than madness. They know that God is not in it, and they’re right.

Opposite to that group, the people at least seem to be a little more rational. There is less name calling, but that same observant young person would eventually notice that there are a lot of dirty tricks being played. People are breaking the law and lying under oath. They consider themselves heroes, breaking laws for what they consider to be a good cause. At the end of the day, the young person who hasn’t “picked a side” realizes that this side will lie and cheat whenever it serves them. They see them as hypocritical and self serving, and they’re right on that as well.

So with both sides flawed, where are they left to go? Many of them do not know the Truth, but many have a genuine heart of concern for the victims of this war. Why would they turn to the church when they see children molested and tax fraud committed? There are even many greedy ministers who hold widows’ entire paychecks hostage, all so that they can get another new jet.

And what about the victims? Let’s consider the gay people at marches who are pelted by human waste or the scared teenagers spit on for simply walking into Planned Parenthood to look for information, because they’re not sure what to do or where to turn. Can we say that they’re not victimized by abusers? If we’re being honest, we absolutely cannot.

While the Bible is clear on sin, it is entirely clear that no one who knows the Father would commit such terrible acts, no matter what their sin. So if these things are not coming from the Father, what is their true source?

I know that we have discussed this a bit already, but now I’d like to shed a little light on the very real, very organized human participation side to the enemy’s agenda.

The Secret Source

If you recall from part 1, the great deception of the enemy is not demonstrated by simply making a marketing strategy to come follow him. There aren’t any signs with the devil wearing stars and stripes that say, “The devil wants you!” The genius of his plan is in his strategy in which he controls the optics of all sides from the shadows.

Not long ago, I happened across an old interview from the 1990s. It consisted of a Christian preacher and one of the leading members of the church of satan. They met up together for an on-camera discussion. It’s worth noting that the satanist, who was guest on the preacher’s TV show, wasn’t decked out in gothic makeup. He didn’t have a pointy goatee or a ripped vest brandishing heavily tattooed arms, and there were no rings in his nose. Instead, he wore a nice suit and spoke with a very calm, calculated, and steady voice. As the interview went on, no matter how excited his interrogator became, his soothing tone remained, keeping a steady timbre as he spoke.

The preacher’s expression and speech, however, were so distinctly emotional and all over the place that it painted a stark contrast between the two men. It seemed quite clear that the preacher wanted to say things that would spark some heated emotional argument. Undoubtedly, if he’d succeeded, the show would have made him and his TV program famous for “exposing the darkness.” However, if that was the plan, it backfired – terribly. The entire time, the satanist continued to speak calmly, often subtly putting one finger on his neck as he spoke.

What the preacher did not know is that the satanist had trained for this. The finger placed on his neck was a technique he’d learned which helped him to monitor his heart rate. By keeping his heart rate low and steady, he was able to appear logical, in control, and rational. Sadly, if the preacher had been more concerned about Truth than ratings, he’d have known how the enemy uses optics to recruit and would have realized that his own behaviour was causing satanism to appear more rational than the Gospel.

Indeed, I have to admit, given this contrast, I could see how anyone who didn’t know the Truth and was on the fence may be tempted to think that satanism offered a great sense of peace and self control, grounded in logic. To the same person, Christianity would appear silly, emotionally volatile, and weak. This played perfectly into the image that the enemy wanted to portray.

So how is it possible that such a backwards image can seem correct?

The satanist understood that in the game of optics – contrast matters.

The reason I’m telling you this story, however, is to highlight something that he said. As the two continued discussing the difference between satanism and Christianity, the satanist elaborated on the differences in their missions.

He said, in effect, “We don’t want you to join us. Satanism isn’t for weak people. You want to go off and hug the poor people, that’s fine. You can hug them, but I don’t want to. We help the strong. We help each other. If someone is too weak to help themselves, we don’t respect them, and we don’t want them. Satanism is for intelligent people who can take care of themselves.”

This statement is an accurate representation of their philosophy, and it’s important for you to keep it in mind as we move forward.

This explains why even though satanists control the world, you don’t see pamphlets and flyers littering the streets with pictures of baphomet on the cover, inviting you to a church luncheon. There are no large youth rallies held to evangelize the church of satan, and there certainly aren’t large, ornate buildings with the satanic pentagram towering on every street corner with signs that say, “All are welcome!”

With that said, they are behind many large youth rallies. They also control buildings and temples in every city in the world. Believe it or not, even many small church luncheons are organized by them. The mission and creed of the human workers in the enemy’s camp is simple: “control everything, own nothing.”

Today, their influence is everywhere, although it bears many different logos and doctrines. Some are social movements, some corporations, some youth movements, many even claim to be Christian in nature. Nevertheless, behind all of these different groups and movements with seemingly different ideals, they share a secret source. This same source provides both their financial funding and marching orders.

You see, what the slow speaking satanist did not tell the audience, that day, is that they don’t simply “not respect you” because they see you as weak. It is also their mission to keep you weak by causing you to be deceived. It is satanist dogma that if you are able to be deceived, you deserve to be. The greater agenda, however, is to capture those who would otherwise find the Truth by controlling what you are taught. The reason for this is because while they may not respect you, they do fear the true power of God. The dark power that they obsessively dedicate their lives to pursue only profits where the Hand of God is lifted.

Brief Note

I need to unfortunately pause for a moment, here, because this is the point in the message where a little scoffing voice may be rising up and saying, “Here he goes. It started out great, but now it’s just another YouTube-esque conspiracy about the elite, reptilians, and aliens.”

At this time, I’ll ask you to remember what we’ve already talked about in Part 1. Remember the strategy used to hide relevant pieces of Truth in with nonsense to make you dismiss the Truth. I’ll also remind the reader that the purpose of this series is not to rattle off conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory. I know that you already have such an unending supply of those that if you wanted, you could do nothing but watch conspiracy videos all day and never run out.

Instead of adding to that number, the purpose of this book is clear – which is to simply to remind you only of what the Word, itself, has to say, which you already know.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks around, seeking whom he may devour.

1 Peter 5:8

If we know that his strategy is to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10), then we also know that his soldiers will execute his orders according to the same strategy that he plans. If there is any question as to his level of influence, we also know that the Bible calls him the “ruler of this world”. (John 12:31)

If that is not enough, I can tell you that I have had many personal conversations with people who follow these paths. I’ve also been present during times where satanists, satanic priests, or other high level occultists felt comfortable enough to brag in the open about their exploits and methods. From their own mouths, I can confirm the strategies of deception and infiltration into churches and leadership positions in all arenas.

Remember, again, their goal is to kill, steal, and destroy. The only way that they can receive dark power is to do the works of darkness. This should not be a surprise or even be seen as some revolutionary piece of knowledge. The Bible has explained this from the beginning, and it’s not worth spending hours upon hours researching the supposed “secrets” of darkness. If they are not already plainly revealed in the Word, they are merely distractions and baited hooks meant to lure you in. These days, more than ever before, there are more hooks with more diverse forms of bait. These attempt to draw people to their deaths, both spiritual and otherwise.

Instead of fixating on these things, The Bible says that we’re called to be Children of Light, which is the True Light that shines within the whole Word of God and not the false light taught by teachers who speak of light and fire but lead you into terror and darkness.

Balaam’s Error

One error that we truly should spend some time studying, however, is one that the Bible repeatedly talks about. This is frequently referred to as the Error of Balaam.

Despite the many Biblical figures we can look to as heroes of the faith, there are a few who stand out in the wrong way. One such anti-hero in the Bible is a man named Balaam, who absolutely fits the textbook definition of a “Secret Serpent”.

Balaam was a prophet, yet much like the pharisees and religious elite of Jesus’s day, he loved money, honour, and recognition. This error lead him to abuse the gift of God in order to commit horrible acts. He even went so far as to knowingly assist in bringing about the genocide of many of his own God’s blessed people. Balaam was so notorious, in fact, that despite being an old testament figure dating all the way back to the time of Moses, he’s mentioned repeatedly in the New Testament as an example of what not to do.

Here are a few examples.

“But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the people of Israel, so that they would eat food sacrificed to idols and practice fornication.”

Revelation 2:14

“Woe to them! For they go the way of Cain, and abandon themselves to Balaam’s error for the sake of gain, and perish in Korah’s rebellion.”

Jude 11:11

“They have left the straight road and have gone astray, following the road of Balaam son of Bosor, who loved the wages of doing wrong,”

2 Peter 2:15

So what was it that Balaam did that was so awful?

Among other things, he taught an evil, pagan king how to destroy God’s people.

One interesting thing to note about this prophet is that he called Yahweh his God (Numbers 22:38) Despite that fact, when the evil king hired Balaam to curse Israel, he actually tried to do it. At the end of quite an interesting ordeal involving an angel and a talking donkey (Numbers 22 & 23), the prophet ends up blessing Israel, for fear of his life.

Some people who see the story end here will mistakenly assume that Balaam ended up doing the right thing and that he was a good prophet in the end. However, reading further, the Scriptures teach us that something much worse happened. As it turns out, we later learn in Numbers 31 and again in Revelation 2 that after blessing Israel instead of cursing it, Balaam taught the wicked king how to destroy the nation by getting them to abandon the commands of their God.

Balaam understood that if he could get the people to pursue their own lusts and passions, God’s Hand of protection would lift and the people would destroy themselves.

Sure enough, they did.

Cross Before Crown

The reason that it is helpful to know the historical figure of Balaam and his infamous error is because, if we look at the world today, we can see that there are many who still follow in his footsteps and commit the same error in the modern age.

We have already talked about the “secret source” which moves and feeds the wicked factions in the churches today. But, I would submit to you that many, if not even most, of the preachers today are most likely not practicing satanists. Most are simply weak men and women who love fame, money, and recognition. Just like the evil king, the enemy is more than happy to provide these in abundance to these modern day Balaams.

This is why they speak softly, “Grace, dear child! Grace… There is no command.”

Or they shout with bold voices, “God wants you RICH! If you aren’t living your best life now, you don’t have enough faith! He wants you to reign and rule, NOW!”

In Matthew, Jesus says:

“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. Be on your guard; you will be handed over to the local councils and be flogged in the synagogues. On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

“Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

“The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master.”

Matthew 10:16-24

I beg you to confront this difficult question. I know you may love your teachers, and many of you even think of them as friends who love you. But…

Does this sound like your best life now?

If a student is not above his master, and his master was flogged and beaten, will you be elevated to glory by the same world who crucified your master? If not, why do they tell you that you will?

Did Jesus tell us to take up our crown or to take up our cross?

Beloved – the crown will come, but the cross always preceeds the crown.

Something’s Missing

As we come to a close in this series, we have to explore one other painful topic. I say this with great caution and reverence for both the Love of God and the Truth, which, as you’ve learned in the last message, are created to be united together.

Paul reminds us of and demonstrates this same unity in His command to the church, in which he admonishes us to “speak the Truth in Love” (Ephesians 4:15)

With that in mind, we’ll examine another one of the greatest secret poisons in the church today. We can call this the error of “Fellowship over Following”. I’m reminded of a great example that demonstrates this very thing.

Just the other day I watched a segment on what I believe is currently the largest international church in the world. I’ve watched, over the years, as this church has slowly and more boldly put out content and messages which deviate from or violate the Word of God in subtle ways. Much like many large churches, they are solely focused on what they refer to as “The Vision”, or the “The Mission”. These missions often involve feeding programs and outreach programs which truly are good, and the truth is, it’s very hard to see them do real good and imagine that there could be anything wrong with the organization. Yet, the clues are all there if we’re willing to face the hard truth and have a look beyond the glitter.

As I was watching this interview, I admit that I was wrestling in my own heart. I had recently come across blatant evidence released from the church itself which both admitted and advertised its involvement in high level occult agenda. In seeing this, I finally had to take a hard look, no longer ignoring what was in front of me. I knew what they were saying and selling, and the truth is that the signs were there for years. Where I was wrestling is in that it seemed that they were doing so much good. If I’m being completely honest, I think it just hurt too much to let myself accept that another place that the sheep trusted was hurting God’s children. Cognitive dissonance fought back on this one.

If you are reading this and you have the Love of God in your heart, you’ve probably felt the same way before, especially when undeniable evidence or a scandal breaks in the news involving a ministry or minister. It’s just painful. There’s no other way to put it. There are those people who love to go around and set fire to every organization that doesn’t bear the name of their denomination, but most likely, that isn’t you, and it isn’t me.

Because you Love God, you may find it hard to imagine that places which seem so good may not always be.

I watched as the interviewer, who was an atheist, asked a young woman questions. She was radiant, healthy, and had a beautiful smile. I was shocked as this healthy looking girl shared her story. She explained how just a few years prior, she was very unwell. She was cutting herself frequently, using drugs, and even needed to be institutionalized. The girl I saw on camera showed no signs of being anything but happy and healthy. She went on to say that when she was released, having been raised in church, family members encouraged to get back into it. So, she went out in search of a place that didn’t look like other churches. Eventually, she found the church which was the subject of the interview.

Her story concluded in the way that many beautiful testimonies do. She went in to church and felt good. She said she felt a love and connectedness the moment she entered the building. Hearing this, I almost got a tear in my eye, thinking that this was surely the evidence that I was simply wrong. I wanted so badly to believe that I was.

“Maybe it doesn’t matter that the church doesn’t get it all right,” I thought. “Maybe it’s enough that they get some of it right.”

Now, had this been a Christian interview or an advertisement for the church, the program probably would have ended there. However, this was an atheist interviewer, and the interview didn’t end with a testimony. He went on to ask her her thoughts about sexuality.

She nervously giggled, her eyes lit up, and she said, “I’m bisexual, and I know God made me that way, so he wants me to be happy.”

When asked, “What do you do when you come to verses in the Bible about that sort of thing?”

“I just skip over them,” she said, laughing.

“Does it feel good to say that out loud?” the interviewer asked.

“Really good!” She laughed, doubling over.

My eyes were now dry. It was clear that this girl was getting all the love and affirmation she needed without any of the pesky commands.

“Now, hold on just a minute!”

… you might be thinking.

This is the place where cognitive dissonance defenses begin to kick in, powerfully, and I don’t blame you.

We can rationalize this and say, “Well, yes, that girl obviously doesn’t get it. But it’s better that she goes to church rather than not going! You shouldn’t kick sinners out!”

And I would agree that Jesus said,

“It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Mark 2:17

But before we get too angry, let’s simply take a quick look together to Jesus’s Ministry. We’ll examine the surprising effect that He had on those who came to Him and see if that same effect may be at work in this church.

The Jesus Effect

In the case of Nicodemus, the cheat, Jesus looked at him, for the first time, and said, “Nicodemus, I am coming to your house for dinner.”

Jesus invited Himself to dinner. That’s a bold move. Even in older times and across cultures, I imagine that such an act would still be considered incredibly rude. Yet, for some strange reason, that is all it took. Immediately following this proclamation, Nicodemus responded by making a strange but bold statement of his own. He said, “Lord, I will give half of my possessions to the poor, and anything I’ve stolen, I’ll repay double!”

Jesus concludes this bizarre exchange with an astonishing proclamation:

“Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

Luke 19:9-10

If that whole exchange had happened today, no doubt someone in the crowd might say, “Well, that escalated quickly!”

While this all seems odd, it makes sense if you understand the context. Nicodemus was a sinner. As it turns out, he had a reputation – the entire town knew that he was a sinner. In fact, even Nicodemus himself knew that he was a sinner. So when Jesus told him He was coming to his house for dinner, the whole crowd started grumbling, because they felt that a man like Nicodemus didn’t deserve that honour.

Jesus proceeded to tell the crowd who Nicodemus was to Him – lost, yet still a son of Abraham. In other words, Nicodemus was a member of the same family. This is a great example of the Amazing Grace of Jesus, but it also an incredible demonstration of the Jesus Effect.

You see, Nicodemus understood that he was unclean, and the mere fact that Jesus even looked at Him while the religious elite would not, made him desire to become clean.

Without a single sermon preached or altar call given, Nicodemus couldn’t wait to become clean. This shows the power that True Love offers.

But what about people who do not see their own uncleanness?

Remember the rich young ruler who came to Christ? When he asked Jesus how to attain eternal life, Christ told him, “Sell what you have, and follow Me. Then, you’ll have eternal life.”

The Scripture says that the young man left Jesus, with a heavy heart, because he did not want to give up his own happiness.

Seeing these two men, we’re left to wonder why one man jumped at the chance to be made clean, without any prompting, and the another went away sad, refusing the direction of Jesus. We’re taught that this was simply because of the ruler’s financial wealth, but the truth is, both of these men were wealthy. So what is the real difference?

Washing vs.Warmth

I believe that the difference between the two men is that one knew that he was unclean and was surrounded by scorn, while the other had the honour of man. In his own eyes and in the eyes of the those who practiced the Law, the rich young ruler was already pure. When it came to a matter of giving up his honour and status, the ruler refused to do it, and he went home.

The difficult Truth is, if these churches were speaking as Christ spoke, the people who heard them would be left with the same choice presented to these two men: follow Jesus or go home alone.

They wouldn’t feel comfortable coming back week after week to “bask in the Love” of a god who only wants them to be warm and happy.

Consider this – the young lady we spoke about came from a lifestyle which most believers will agree shows demonic oppression. She cut herself like the man from Gadara, used drugs, and ended up locked away in a mental hospital. I say this not in disrespect of the mentally ill, but instead, having intimate knowledge of the subject, I choose to speak more freely on it.

What’s astounding is that the warmth that she experienced in that church was enough to make her leave those things behind and appear to be healthy. With full confidence, she returns each week, year after year, basking in the warm love of a god, who just wants her to be happy doing whatever makes her feel good.

Even if the “official stance” of the church is against homosexuality, the message of the church barely mentions it, and if it does, it’s generally done quickly and with an apology in case of offense, making sure to follow it with, “but we love you anyway.” If that weren’t the case, she wouldn’t attend. But, in her own words, she’s comfortable there because they don’t make a big deal of it.

Like the rich young ruler, she doesn’t want to be washed, she only wants to be warmed.

You see, even though it may seem like I am nit-picking or casting stones at everyone, the absence of the real Christ in a place becomes evident in the fact that the church’s members can sit comfortably living lifestyles of what Jesus clearly calls sin.

Nicodemus saw Christ look at him and felt an immediate desire for cleanliness, spurred by true joy and gratitude. Yet, in these churches, its members feel validated and many are even empowered to remain and increase in filth.

To put it more plainly, I could say this. Instead of making the dirty spots plain and offering water to bathe in, the message is crafted to whatever best serves “The Vision”, and the vision is simple. Grow the church, expand the reach.

Not everyone wants to get clean, but everyone wants to feel loved. So, in order to grow the church, you need to make the people feel good with just enough Bible to avoid being clear heretics, yet not enough to drive people off. It’s an art and a balancing act, and we’ve somehow been conditioned to actually praise the pastors who do it by calling them “wise” and “relevant”.

Fellowship over Following

So what exactly is Fellowship over Following, and why is it such a delicate topic?

This is a tactic that is so subtle that it’s one of the most deceptive tools in the enemy’s arsenal, which is also why it’s so powerfully guarded.

It is, however, the subject of a satanic plot which has been many years in the making. We are on the cusp of a new movement that they will call “revival”. Chances are, you’ll want to believe it.

To be completely honest, I’m worried on writing to you about this. I don’t even really know how to begin, because I know that the devil has so powerfully guarded this by burying it alongside of the world’s most hateful agents of deception, who call themselves believers. You may find yourself tempted to think we’re delving into that territory, but I encourage you to stick with me. All that I can do is pray and ask you to carefully consider what I have to say, searching the Scripture and not the endless commentary of the world to see if what I have to say is true.

There is a reason that churches like the one attended by the young lady we spoke about are able to seem to “heal the sick” and make the emotionally unwell well again. This is the great plan which has been set up in The Lifeless Middle which is ready to capture the youth of a coming generation.

We’ve all been lead to believe that the enemy simply wants to divide us. As a matter of fact, never in the years I’ve been alive or even throughout history, as I’ve studied it, have we ever seen so much division. The complicated truth about these dichotomies and Hegelian Dialectic scenarios is that it’s not simply a two dimensional, “left versus right” scenario. Instead, if we look at all of the warring factions taken together, we end up with something that looks more like 3d chess, with a near infinite amount of players, all battling at once.

It’s at this point that I’ll remind you about what we talked about in the beginning of this series, which is also what all of these warring extremes have in common – they all surround and push those who manage to escape their recruitment toward The Middle.

As we’ve already discussed, division is simply the setup for creating a new order out of controlled chaos. It works by mixing parts of the Truth into different divisions of evil in order to lead a new generation into accepting a reality which excludes Truth. The fact that you are seeing so much division now is indication of what’s coming, and it’s close.

We’re entering into an age where the battle cry will not be “Divide!” It will rather be, “Unite!” And, although it will be tempting to assume that it is a relieving end to all of the bickering, there is a much more sinister agenda. The bad news is, that time has already begun.

United We Stumble

Today, leaders from every denomination and sect are starting to publicly come together in the interest of finding peace and “unity”. This is even being marked with bizarre displays. The other day at a large event, a ranking representative of the catholic church dropped to his knees on stage and kissed the feet of an evangelical leader. His evangelical counterpart returned the strange gesture in like manner. If you’re like me, while this is a little weird and uncomfortable, the hope planted here is the whisper of a “great revival” in which the sides come together in power and all of the division finally stops.

Please hear me. I am not against unity. Division is the work of the enemy, and the Body must come together. However, Paul tells us how that comes to be.

“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”

Ephesians 4:15

Here, again, we see the believers speaking and declaring with the unity of Truth and Love, which causes us to become matured into the Body of Christ, who is the Head.

What body doesn’t follow the commands that the head gives it? As you read this, each time you turn the page or scroll down, your head instructs your hand what to do. Without a thought of its own, your hand obeys and complies with the head which directs it! You didn’t have to discipline your hand or give it a stern talking to. It simply did what your head told it to do.

So are we now the Body of Christ simply by inheritance, as the teachers love to say? Not so, according to Paul! Rather, he makes it clear that we become the Body through the process of Maturation, in our own willingness to both practice and speak the Truth in Love.

How can a true Child of God go to the House of God and feel comfortable saying, “I just skip over the verses I don’t like! We’re more evolved now.” Can the hand simply choose when it doesn’t want to obey the head? Yet, the teachers today exchange praises and pleasantries, speaking diverse messages and practicing diverse dogma, all the while calling themselves one body. Yet, it is clear that the same head is not instructing each.

Which brings us to a challenging question.

If the hand does not obey the head, is it a member of the body at all?

Truth & Love

At the risk of repeating myself too many times, I will say it once more. If you’re getting only Love without Truth, it isn’t Love that you’re getting. If you’re getting only Truth without Love, it’s not Truth that they’re selling.

In fact, we see this same display in the story of the rich young ruler who we discussed earlier.

Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Mark 10:21

Here we see Jesus acting in the way that the Father does. When the young man asked Jesus how to be saved, Jesus didn’t come up with a clever saying. He didn’t soft-pedal or pivot, giving a politicians answer. He also didn’t point his finger in hatred and scorn, even though He knew the young man’s heart.

Instead, Jesus Loved, and He spoke the Truth. Following that, the young man left.

Did Jesus fail at ministry? By today’s standards, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone with a theological degree and a heart who wouldn’t have some advice for a better soul-winning strategy. Anyone of us, as Christians, could easily argue that it would have been better for Jesus to give a softer answer. Surely, he could have said something a little easier to start, because at least the man would stick around and stay in church.

Jesus could have said, “Come follow us. Get to know us awhile, and we’ll have some conversations.”

Maybe that would have been a more effective strategy! It absolutely would fit with the churches’ strategies today. Ask them what their opinion is on homosexuality and you hear what sounds like a wise answer, “We have a stance on love! Everything else, we have conversations.”

It’s important to note that Jesus didn’t point his finger and say, “Go to hell you wretched sinner!” I hate that I even have to keep saying this, but again, some of us are still exceptionally conditioned to believe that it’s either a production of “Grease – A Grace Story” or “All Dogs go to Hell”. The point here is to dig out the buried and mislabeled power points of Love and Truth and see how Jesus united them.

In the example of the rich young ruler, you can see that Jesus was able to both Love and tell the Truth, even when He knew it would make the hearer walk away. Not a very good growth strategy for “The Vision” of Christ’s non-profit incorporated ministry, yet by hindsight, we can see that this one example stands as a beacon which still lights the way for the millions of followers who would and who will find the Way, in Christ Jesus.

In order to grow into the Body, it’s time for us to discover this same place in our own hearts. By reuniting those seeming star-crossed lovers – Love and Truth – we water and grow the fruits of Righteousness and Peace in the soil of our hearts.

Who’s on First?

Just before Jesus gave His Disciples authority and sent them out, He issued words of warning and instruction. Near the end of this didactic delivery, He makes a rather difficult statement.

“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”

Matthew 10:37-39

The simple fact is, this addresses the “Fellowship over Following” lie which we touched on earlier. Please make no mistake, this is one of the greatest and most deceptive devices which has so subtly overtaken the churches of America and the world today. It is at the root of the satanic system for which all of this division which we are currently experiencing in 2019 has been prepared. It is that movement into the so-called “coming convergence”, or the great notion of [false] “unity”.

So often we hear it taught about loving one’s neighbor. The fact is, even atheists and deep rooted occultists love to teach on this. Many even quote the Bible to illustrate these points. Yet, the world has begun to forget that this is the second most important command. The first is, “Love the Lord your God, with all your heart, soul and mind.”

Now, I don’t in any way intend to undermine or discount loving your neighbor, because, like one of the two cables in our battery example, to love your neighbor is critical. With that said, the enemy loves it if he can get you to focus on this command and ignore or think lightly of the first.

Remember that Jesus said (paraphrasing), “Those who Love me will keep My Commands. Those who do not keep My Commands do not love me.”

Today, many people walk into churches – Christian and otherwise – to be met with an overwhelming feeling of love and acceptance.

They know that they can come as they are, and leave as they were.

Often times the feeling that they receive will even help them stop destructive habits like drug addiction, which often stem from loneliness or feeling unworthy. All the while, they’re given a soft hug and the promise that God or the “Ascended Masters” love them. While it’s great to see people no longer bound by self-hatred or destructive habits, it’s worth noting that this same feeling and the resulting deliverance experience is found across churches of various religions, support groups, and even luciferian cults. If you don’t believe me, look for yourself. Search for testimonies regarding yoga, meditation, buddhism, the list goes on.

The similarity is that these offer a sense of purpose and a connectedness to others as well as a mysterious spiritual force which drives them.

Empty Revival

With that in mind, let me close this chapter by sharing with you what I see coming.

There appears to be a form of revival in its very infancy, now. It is built around a new unity. It will claim to be Christian, and it will still lightly adhere to Christian doctrine. I say lightly, because it will resemble what has become acceptable on Christian television, today.

It is most likely that this coming revival will look Godly at the beginning. It will be advertised under the banner of uniting together, out of the divisions and under Jesus. It will have a power, and many people will speak great things to “empower the people”. Some will call for “holiness”, yet it will only be in image and not in Truth. The evidence of this will be seen in the fact that the holiness preachers will stand united with hugs and odd displays of affection for those who preach the opposite doctrine. They will stand together on the same stage and assure you that they are brothers.

Some will be genuine and even speak against certain sins, yet they will be deceived by the same spirit of error. All will be lovers of money or lovers of attention (not necessarily always both). In these final days, there are those who love attention enough to forgo nearly all money. This seemingly new form of deception will draw more and more attention for them, which will ultimately erode the True Biblical foundation which was once laid in their hearts. I say seemingly new, because this has been a tactic used throughout all of history. Some live extreme lives, whether in giving, abstinence, or poverty, simply for the attention and influence it provides them.

At these events, people hungry for power and significance will be filled with a false holy spirit and sent out into the world. Yet, in spite of this, a small number will truly be saved at the events and some will endure as the Lord leads them and they read their Bibles. The reason for this is that The Word of God, however sparingly sown, can still take root, regardless of the speaker.

The wicked teachers in the midst of the organizers of these events purport to send a generation of spiritual infants out to evangelize. They do this without first equipping them in Truth. Like sending children into battle with cardboard armour, these will fail morally and be lead astray. As they do, they will fall into all sorts of sexual sin and immorality, which will further harm and dissolve the Image of Christianity to the world. After they’ve fallen, they will seek out teachers who will affirm them and tell them that they have not failed, and they will become filled with more error. They will continue to evangelize, but their doctrines will change.

The enemy’s goal is for the ill-equipped generation born in this “revival” age to fall. After this, remembering the glory days where they were chosen and sent, they will recreate this event for another generation, this time with far more error and occultic spiritualism. They will scarcely bring with them the ideas of “holiness” and “purity”, likening them to failed experiments. Instead, this group will falsely decipher that the key is found in reigniting the flame called “unity”, which produced the “fire” that they felt during those conferences. Armed with these memories, they will be open to greater deception and will set out to change the world according to a more reasonable doctrine with “more light”.

Step by Step

I cannot say for certain how things will play out. I can only see an outline of a blueprint, but I encourage you to keep this tucked away in your mind.

The “spiritual oneness” which everyone warns you is coming, in which all religions and ideologies are melded together, is most likely not the next step, but it is the destination.

In Truth, we are probably only around two steps away to that precipice atop the destructive staircase that Balaam built. Like those which came before it, the steps ahead are placed within the church. Balaam knows that the only way to get to a universal religion without Christ is to first weaken, then ultimately destroy the church.

Remember what we learned about Balaam. He knew the Lord, and he even had the ability to prophesy. Nations sought out his ability to pronounce blessing and cursing. Yet, his heart was wicked, and he was willing to secretly sell the lives of God’s people for more attention and money.

When God would not allow him to curse the people, he blessed God’s people. Immediately following, he created a road-map for their destruction.

Remember – Balaam knew that by getting the people to forget the commands of their God, His protection would lift, and the people could be destroyed.

The same is playing out in front of our eyes, today. Those who know the Lord and call him their God have sold out his people, leading them into error for their own gain. They bless with their mouths, but they bring a curse with their instruction. Please understand that there is an effort to destroy the church and that those who will ultimately bring it down will come from within it.

John warns us of this same thing.

Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. T

They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

1 John 2:18-19

These times of fighting, today, will be followed will be followed by false revivals. It can be thought of like depriving the people of water for a season, then inviting them all together to wells filled with real water. Yet, in their thirst the people could not detect the taste of the slow-acting poison which was added into the well. Following each dry spell, more poison is added to the future well, until all will eventually die from drinking. And yet, none will know the difference, because they’ve not tasted the True Living Water, which comes from the real Jesus Christ, son of God, whose Nature is evident in the whole Word of God.

With each future generation, the church is being pushed one step at a time, even one revival at a time, into that supposed utopian middle in the center of the 3d chess board, where real Truth and real Love are nowhere to be found.

Just remember – it is a process, one step at a time, and it’s executed in what appears to be the church.

How can we tell what is false and what is true revival?

True Revival is not a movement, it’s a return to the same Truth and Love which has been there from the beginning.

It is not reviving the sensuality of dead flesh; rather, it is a death and resurrection into the Body of Christ, which is in itself United, not simply by hugs and handshakes but by the very ligaments and nerves which carry the message from the Head to its members, who comply because of their very nature and not as a matter of personal decision.

The True Light

We will conclude today’s teaching with the words from the Beloved Apostle John, who very well demonstrates to us all of what we’ve talked about so far.

In it we will see:

  • Truth and Grace come from God, and both call for Holiness and catch us when we fall.
  • Those who Love Him keep His Commands.
  • Whoever hates his brother is in darkness.

We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.

Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

1 John 2:3-11

Thank you for joining me, today. In our final part of the series, we will finally talk about what it means to be a “Spiritual Sweet-tooth”. We’ll also learn how to better identify a few common deceptions which are poisoning the wells and keeping God’s people sick and powerless.

God bless!
